Meghan Turvey
Vice President Waste Management Services
Mrs. Meghan Turvey brings more than 15 years of specialized experience in low level radioactive and mixed waste brokerage to her role at NAC Philotechnics, where she has been a member of the team since 2006. She oversees multiple commercial business units, including a nationwide full service radioactive and mixed waste management program and two licensed facilities.
Meghan is a seasoned technical waste broker with deep expertise in managing complex waste streams containing both radiological and hazardous constituents. She is highly knowledgeable in Waste Acceptance Criteria (WAC) and applies this expertise to ensure compliant, efficient processing and disposal for clients across the country. Her responsibilities include the characterization and profiling of outbound waste, coordination of shipments to TSDFs and disposal facilities, and oversight of direct landfill shipments.
In addition to her operational leadership, Meghan supports field projects alongside other operational departments and manages internal waste movements requiring specialized characterization and processing. She also develops marketing strategies, business plans, proposals, and cost estimates, while maintaining fiduciary responsibility to the company’s shareholders and Board of Directors.
