General Laborer / Processing Technician

Position Requirements: This is an entry level position responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks for services to the nuclear industry.
Philotechnics will provide instruction & training for the tasks involved and all associated medical assessments.
Medical exams are required for all new employees.
Position Location: Oak Ridge, TN
Experience Level: Minimum-High School Diploma, additional education or prior industrial and/or construction experience is a plus.
Compensation: Dependent on Experience Level and availability - $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Duration: Full time
Position Summary: Work will involve successfully completing training and qualification programs including completing medical exams required for the position. Work will include the use of hand tools and other instruments, after completion of training. Previous fork lift instruction is a plus.

Ability to perform duties in industrial environments and industrial settings. This will include standing for long periods on concrete floors, performing tasks repeatedly, bending, crouching, lifting, carrying, training and qualification on fork lift/specialized equipment/instrumentation.

Training on the proper usage and wearing of safety equipment/clothing will be provided.

Position Qualifications & Experience Needed: Prior experience in construction, industrial services. Radiological service experience is a plus. On the job training will be provided.
